This is Fido here.  Pat said I could have a little column to talk to you all about doggy things. Who would know more about dogs than me, Fido?     You know we dogs talk to one another thru body language..  see an illustration at  http://forpaws.org/articles/dog-postures.pdf . Sometimes somebody here will come across with one of those 'TUDES - whooee.  You know that stuff where they think they are king of the walk and everyone is their slave?  Well it is time to  either put them in their lowly place or for me find a safe place to go. My mom is good at 'splainin' things to a new kid here so he understands that she is the Boss (after me of course, but I don't tell her that).  She doesn't let anyone stalk or intimidate anyone else. If one of the new kids starts that aggressive stuff - they are put in a safe place until they learn that they have to play nice if they want to play at all.  AND that Mom is the head Boss. The moral to this story is "If you humans will watch us dogs you'll have a better idea what we are thinking and might do next"     Thanks and Bye till next time!!  Be sure to give your dog a hug.
